CHOICE AND CONTROL
Marian Jackson

For people with disabilities, having the right to make the
choices that control their lives is the key to a full and
rewarding life.

My Voice, My Choice
Self-advocacy - Self-Advocates are the most effective change agents. When people with disabilities speak for themselves and work together, changes happen in their own lives and in the way disability services are provided.

A few Choice and Control issues supported by IHDD are:
ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
Olmstead vs. L. C. & E.W.

For more information on these and other areas, click on the links to the left.
