Graduate Seminar - Engineering a Safer Georgia Food Supply through Integrated Extension and Research
Dr. Casulli’s lab focuses on mathematical modeling related to process validation and risk assessment. Research in our group involves modeling heating and cooling of foods during processing and coupling these models to models developed for microbial growth and inactivation. We are currently working with validating processes for low-moisture foods and novel processes. Other research interests include food safety aspects of edible insects and vermicomposting.
