Activities/Honors

Working as the ASPIRE Clinic Coordinator in the College

Why I chose my major

As a marriage and family therapist, I carry a passion for helping people work through difficult moments and helping to facilitate the healing and change they want to see in their lives. When I discovered the emerging field of financial therapy, it introduced me to a new path and ignited an interest in helping couples who were experiencing financial conflict. I chose to challenge myself by pursuing a degree in financial planning in order to expand my capacity for understanding and working within that important intersection between money and relationships.

What I like most about FACS

I've worked in the College for nearly 12 years! It's has been exciting to see FACS evolve and change over time, but I most appreciate our collective commitment to improving the lives of individuals, couples, and families through our complementary fields and interdisciplinary efforts.

Post-graduation Plans

I'll be continuing my work at ASPIRE and look forward to furthering our impact on the UGA and Athens communities through our dynamic experiential learning opportunities, our holistic research, and our important interdisciplinary services. I hope to also continue to expand financial therapy-centered education, research, and services at UGA.
