Bolding to lead college’s alumni relations, annual giving efforts
Jayme Bolding has been hired as the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving for the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Bolding previously served as Associate Director of Alumni Programs for UGA Development and Alumni Relations, where she managed the outreach initiatives for 40 Under 40, Bulldog 100 and the UGA Alumni Awards.
“I am truly excited to become a part of the FACS family as Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving,” Bolding said. “I look forward to meeting our incredible alumni and being a part of their ongoing journey to serve, connect and make a lasting impact on their beloved alma mater.”
Bolding earned a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from Oregon State University. Prior to arriving at UGA in 2022, she served as special events coordinator at Virginia Tech.
Bolding said one of her primary objectives is to strengthen the ties between FACS alumni and the university.
“I believe that by working closely with our alumni board and leveraging their valuable insights, we can develop innovative strategies that will not only engage our alumni but also encourage their active involvement in the growth and development of FACS,” she said. “I look forward to working alongside such a dedicated group of alumni who are committed to the betterment of our alumni community and the advancement of our institution.”
Bolding and her husband, Chad, a professor and Langdale Endowed Chair in Forest Business in the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, have four children.
“We’re truly enjoying our new adventure here and have loved becoming a part of the Bulldog family,” Bolding said.
