FACS Day at the Capitol

Students, faculty, and supporters are invited to participate in a day trip to the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta to show support of Family and Consumer Sciences.

Legislative Aide Leadership Fellows Progam

Experience the excitement of legislation in action and learn hands on skills in a high speed environment with an Athens-area legislator.

SSAC Internship

The SSAC internship helps students build skills in the areas of leadership, project managment, event planning, human resources, problem solving, communication, and more. 

Student Ambassadors

Ambassadors promote pride in FACS and help increase understanding of the various programs available to students.

UGA Mentor Program

Mentoring is important, not only because of the knowledge and skills students can learn from mentors, but also because mentoring provides professional socialization and personal support to facilitate success after graduation. Quality mentoring greatly enhances students' chances for success.
